Peter Juszczyk enters his second season as an Assistant Track & Field Coach for the throws events.
In his first season at Webster (2023-24), Coach Juszczyk trained a diverse group of throwers where all women's throwers on the team achieved a new personal-best. In addition, he lead a fantastic group of student-athletes that broke three school records; Women's Weight Throw, Discus, and Hammer Throw.
Juszczyk was a standout field athlete at Southern Illinois University- Cardondale where he excelled in the javelin event. During the 1999 season, he broke the all-time Saluki javelin record with a mark of 224-10 which currently still ranks as the top mark in history. In addition, he was named the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Outdoor Individual Champion in javelin and selected to the Outdoor All-Conference Team.
Juszczyk graduated from SIU-Carbondale with his bachelors degree in 1999.
