- 1200M: set a season-best time of 5:56.82 at Illinois Wesleyan University

- Tri-sport athlete DeSoto Central in cross country, track & field, and soccer…Selected as team captain and Scholar-Athlete of the Month.
Personal:
- Daughter of Robert and Rebecca Horowitz…Has two older sisters (Olivia and Abby)
- Outside of training, her top hobbies include reading, binging watching her favorite shows, and traveling
- Her favorite movies are Young Frankenstein and 10 Things I Hate About You and likes to play the board game Life
- Her all-time favorite venue she has played in was at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama.
Education:
- Emily is pursuing a major in Exercise Science.
