The Webster University men’s soccer team pulled off a major upset on Oct. 21, defeating Principia College 1-0.  The only goal of the game was scored by sophomore defender Mike Politte.  Webster is now 5-6-3 overall and has a record of 4-2-1 in conference play.  Coming into the contest, WU was the fourth ranked team in the St Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Principia was ranked number one.  The standings have not changed with the upset.

The Gorloks only have one game remaining on their 2008 regular season schedule.  On Oct. 25, Webster will travel to Greenville College to finish out both school’s regular season schedules.
