The Webster bats continued to be on hiatus as the Gorloks mustered six hits over two games, and were shutout for the third and fourth times this season. WU fell by identical 5-0 tallied to Beloit and Aurora in Wednesday's finale.

Cassie Mosier was one of few bright spots in the opener, recording three of the team's four hits in the game against Beloit. Webster committed six errors in the loss. The Buccaneers finally got to Webster starter
Nicole Buse in the fourth inning, when they plated three runs. They added two unearned runs in the sixth off
Lexie Moore.
Buse (0-1) allowed three runs in 3 1/3 innings with three hits and five walks.
Webster managed two hits - singles by Mosier and junior
Megan Sperry - in their loss to Aurora. The Spartans opened the scoring with a run in the second, then tacked on three in the fourth. They concluded the scoring with a single run in the sixth.
Senior
Gina Trapani (1-2) allowed five runs (three earned) on seven hits with six strikeouts.
The Gorloks (2-6) will host UW-Oshkosh noon Sunday at Blackburn Park.
