Gorloks kick off SLIAC action

It's time for the Webster baseball team to get to business.

With a single game Friday at GCS Ballpark, the Gorloks will start the trek to their third consecutive St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship as they host Westminster. Additionally, Webster works on making its fifth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Following the game Friday, the two teams will meet for a doubleheader Saturday in Fulton. While the Blue Jays are leading the overall series, 28-15, the Gorloks are dominating recent history. Webster has claimed 13 of the last 14, including four straight.
