The Webster University women's softball team salvaged a double-header split at Eureka College (IL) on April 10, behind pitcher Ashley Meagher's (FR, Dupo HS, IL) complete-game victory. The Gorloks downed the Red Devils, 10-2, in game two after dropping a 6-5 decision in the opener, and are tied for first place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
In game two, Meagher allowed one run on six hits, with five strikeouts, while improving to 5-0 in her freshman season.
Jessica Arcangel (FR, St. Lucy's Priory, CA) was three for three with two runs scored and two RBIs.

Webster strung five straight hits together, but a lost a run at the plate that wound up costing them.
Lexie Moore (SR, Champaign Central HS, IL) relieved Sperry and allowed one unearned run, on a passed ball, that turned out to be the winner for the Red Devils.
Arcangel had the big hit in the Gorok 5th, driving in two. Sperry was three for four at the plate, winding up six for eight on the day.
