The Gorloks have not allowed a goal since Sept. 16 and have conceded just 14 goals all season — an average of 1.08 goals allowed per game. Webster hasn't been scored on in its last 488 minutes of play.

Junior Brian Woodward (Eureka, MO / Eureka) and freshman Zach Horn (Godfrey, IL / Alton Marquette) split the clean sheet in goal for Webster. The Gorloks outshot the Beavers, 44-3.

After a scoreless first half, junior midfielder Kris Brown (Wentzville, MO / St. Charles CC) notched his third goal in as many games on an assist from junior midfielder Mike Wells (St. Louis, MO / McCluer North). Wells leads the Gorloks in assists with four.

Senior forward Patrick McCaffrey (St. Louis, MO / Bishop DuBourg) added an insurance tally with his second goal in two games and his team-leading sixth of the season. McCaffrey has 17 goals in his three-year Webster career, which places him in a tie for 13th in school history.

Webster is 8-2-3 overall this season and 3-0 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. The Gorloks are the defending conference champions.

Up next, the Gorloks host Principia Tuesday (Oct. 15) at 5 p.m. at St. Louis Soccer Park. Webster plays Fontbonne Saturday (Oct. 19) at 1 p.m. at Centene Stadium in Clayton.
