GAME ONE
The Gorloks continued their offensive onslaught, having scored 85 runs in their last nine games and averaging 9.5 runs a game in that span. After building a 5-1 lead in game one, Webster broke it wide open in the sixth. Joe Winckel (JR, North County HS, MO) singled and Jarrod Turner (JR, Chatham Glenwood HS, IL) reached on a bunt and stole second. Mitchell Bonds (SR, Kankakee CC, IL) singled Winckel home and an HBP to Corey Lasky (JR, College of Lake County, IL) loaded the bases.
A Ryan Hall (JR, Central Arkansas, MO) sac fly to center scored Turner. After Bonds and Lasky advanced on a passed ball, Taylor Stoulp (JR, St. Mary's HS, MO) doubled them both home. Stoulp took third on another passed ball and came home on a double by Alex Kazmierski (SR, Triton College, IL). Webster led 10-1 and added one more run in the seventh.
Webster had taken a 2-0 lead in the second inning as Mike Rainbolt (SR, Kankakee CC, IL) singled and stole second. Kazmierski doubled Rainbolt in, moved to third on a Brett Buchanan (JR, Willowbrook HS, IL) single, and scored on a Winckel sacrifice fly. The Gorloks doubled their lead to 4-0 in the third as Bonds singled and Hall walked, and Stoulp reached on a ground out. An error on the Blue Jays' third baseman scored Bonds and Stoulp wound up scoring on another passed ball.

He struck out the next batter looking, one of four strikeouts, to end the threat. Schneider went five innings, giving up four hits, one walk, and no runs in picking up the victory.
Buchanan came on in relief and pitched three scoreless innings through the eighth, striking out two and allowing two hits. Jason Gray (SR, Eureka HS, MO) then pitched a scoreless ninth for his second straight save.
