The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has released its first regular season ranking for 2014 and the Webster baseball team is ranked 8th with 337 votes.

SUNY-Cortland State and Marietta College (OH), are ranked 9th and 11th, respectively.  The Gorloks defeated both teams on their recent Florida swing, where the team finished 5-2.  One of the losses came to Wheaton College (MA), who is ranked 14th.  Linfield College (OR), last year's NCAA III national champion, is ranked #1.

The baseball team in back in action on March 21 at Washington University.  The Gorloks have their first home games at GCS Ballpark on March 22 vs. Concordia College (IL) and on March 23 vs. Illinois Wesleyan.  All are single games.
