Box Score The Webster University softball team was shut down by Fontbonne University, losing 8-0, 8-0, on March 30, at ABC Park in St. Ann, MO.  The Gorloks bats were silent as they were overpowered by the Griffin pitching.

Webster had two hits in game one and three hits in game two.  Samantha Powers (SR, Manchester, MO/John F. Kennedy HS) took the loss for the Gorloks on the mound in game one and Rachel Franck (SO, Florissant, MO/McCluer North HS) took the loss in game two.

The Gorloks fall to 2-2 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and 6-8 overall.  Webster will host another Big Bend rival, Washington University, for a doubleheader on April 1 at Blackburn Park.
