Box Score The Webster University softball team salvaged a split at Greenville College, falling in game one, 11-2, before mounting a come from behind, 13-11 win in game two.  After managing just four hits in the opener, the Gorlok offense came to life with a 17-hit attack in the nightcap.
Tied 10-10 entering the seventh inning in game two, a Kallie Federofer (JR, St. Louis, MO/Lutheran South HS) hit drove in Rachel Franck (SO, Florissant, MO/McCluer North HS) and Erin McGinnis (SO, Fenton, MO/Rockwood Summit HS) to give Webster a 12-10 lead.  Emily Kolisch (FR, St. Louis, MO/Incarnate Word Academy) followed with a single to bring Federhofer home to make it 13-11.
Franck allowed one run in the bottom of the seventh to close out the victory.  Franck pitched the final four innings, giving up six hits, three runs (two earned), and striking out one, while picking up the win.  She is 4-3 on the season.
Federhofer was 4-5, with three RBIs and two runs in the game.  Taylor Gibbs (JR, Alton, IL/Alton HS) was 2-5 with a two-run homer.  For Gibbs, it was her sixth home run in her last seven games.  Franck and McGinnis both went 2-5, with three runs and two RBIs each.
In the 11-2, five-inning loss in game one, Kelley Bridgmon (SR, Imperial, MO/Seckman HS) was 1-2 with a double, two RBIs, and a run scored.  Kolisch was 1-2, with a double.  Samantha Powers (SR, Manchester, MO/John F. Kennedy HS) started for Webster and took the loss, falling to 5-6 on the season.
The Gorloks are 6-5 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, a half-game behind Westminster College for the fourth place spot, and 10-13 overall.  Webster hosts Westminster on April 17 for a doubleheader at Blackburn Park.
