The Webster University men's baseball team, through rain, sleet, and snow, will open up the much anticipated 2015 season this weekend in Jackson, MS. The Gorloks were originally scheduled to play in Memphis, TN, but the games have been moved further south due to current snow cover and the weekend's forecast.
Webster will still play Wheaton College (IL), 2014 NCAA III championship runner up Emory University, and host Millsaps College. Webster was ranked 8th in the D3baseball.com, and 11th in the Collegiate Baseball pre-season national NCAA III polls, and are the favorites to win the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference West Division.
The weekend's updated schedule, with all games being played at Millsaps College, is:
February 20 Webster vs. Wheaton College (IL) 1:00 p.m.
Webster vs. Emory University (GA) 7:00 p.m.
February 21 Webster vs. Millsaps College 7:00 p.m.
