With three days in the books,
Updated schedule for the Waterloo Regional listed below. The #24 ranked Webster University baseball team received an 'at-large' berth to the NCAA III Championships' Waterloo (IA) Regional. After having its string of five straight St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament championships snapped, Webster's stellar record and wins over quality opponents won over the selection committee. The Gorloks (30-13), the #1 team in the Central Region, entered the Waterloo Regional as the #2 seed
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (31-12), the winner of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, entered the regional as the #1 seed. Also in the regional field are SLIAC Champions, Greenville College (22-19), Anderson University (31-11), winners of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, and host Wartburg College (32-12). The Knights were upset in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship game and received an at-large bid as well.
