In Saturday's match, Principia began by posting three wins in doubles by identical 8-0 scores. It was just the fourth time this season that Webster failed to win a match in doubles.

Meanwhile, in singles, Webster managed to win 31 points in the six matches, including having freshman Nicolas Andrade (Quito, Ecuador/Francis Howell) take his match at the No. 6 spot against Dan Wagstaff into a third-set tiebreaker. Andrade opened with a 6-2 win in the first set, while Wagstaff posted a 6-4 win in the second set and in the tiebreaker, Wagstaff held on for a 10-7 win.

The other competitive singles match came at the No. 4 spot as Charles McGhee (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) battled back-and-forth with Nat Kenworthy at the No. 4 spot, before ultimately falling in straight sets (6-2, 6-4).

At the No. 5 spot, freshman Zach Bliss (Branson, Mo./Branson) took three games off of Brady Swan as he fell 6-2, 6-1.
