MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Freshman forward Aamahn Murvin (Sahuarita, Ariz./Walden Grove) tallied a career-best two goals here Friday to help Webster University to its 2-0 shutout victory in men's soccer action against Rhodes College at Rhodes Soccer Field.

After the two teams played to a scoreless tie in the opening 45 minutes as they combined for a total of 10 shots, including eight shots and five shots on goal by the Lynx. WU had just two shots and one shot on goal in the first half.

About nine minutes into the second half, Murvin took a pass from freshman midfielder Isaac Pearson (St. Louis, Mo./Maplewood) and found the goal to break up the scoreless tie and tally his second goal of the season.

Murvin would then add his second goal about two minutes later as he took a pass from senior forward Tucker Hively (St. Louis, Mo./Priory) and found the net to give the Gorloks a 2-0 lead. Murvin now leads the Gorloks in both goals (3) and points (8) this season.
