ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University men's soccer team was back in action this evening when they played host to the Eureka (Ill.) College Red Devils in a SLIAC matchup. The Gorloks, who came into this game on a six game winning streak, were able to extend their streak to seven as they defeated the Red Devils by a final score of 10-0 to improve to 9-1 on the season and 5-0 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Gorloks controlled the possession from the start in this one as they held the possession in the Red Devils half of the field for most of the contest. They outshot Eureka 42-6 and had 17 shots on target compared to two from the Red Devils. Webster also controlled the corner count in this one as they finished with eight corners while the Red Devils did not have any.
The Gorloks scored early and often in this one as they scored five goals in the first half and five in the second.

Justin Kohler (2) picked up an assist in the half, and
Noah Abraham (3) finished with three.
Matt Coffey,
Jacob Klevorn, and
Sriram Chidambaram all split time in goal for the Gorloks as the three combined for two saves in the teams sixth shutout of the year.
The Gorloks will return to the pitch on Saturday, October 2
nd when they travel to Greenville, Illinois, to take on the Greenville (Ill.) University Panthers in a SLIAC matchup. The game is set to start at 5 p.m.
