ST. LOUIS, Mo. – This afternoon the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the Player of the Week awards for the week ending on Sunday, April 24^th. For her efforts this past weekend, Danielle Schultz was named the SLIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Schultz, a junior out of Swansea, Illinois, accumulated 10 of the teams 23 points over the weekend at the John Creer Invitational at Lindenwood University. She took first place out of 21 runners in the 800-meter with a time of 2:22.36. The team finished 10^th out 16 teams in the meet. This is Schultz sixth career SLIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week award.

The men's and women's track and field team will return to the track on Friday, April 29^th and Saturday, April 30^th when they travel to Greenville, Illinois, to compete in the SLIAC Outdoor Championships at Greenville (Ill.) University.
