In the bottom of the second, LaRocco led off the inning with a triple and scored on a wild pitch that gave the Gorloks the 1-0 advantage. WU's Ryan Hartz picked the inning back up with a walk and advanced to second on a single up the middle by Ben Stedman. Moments later, Hartz and Stedman executed the double-steal attempt and advanced 90 feet into scoring positions. With no outs, Dalton Groves increased the lead to 2-0 with a sacrifice fly that scored Hartz. Following a single by Jacob Charlson that put runners on the corners, Theodore extended the lead to 3-0 with a sacrifice bunt that scored Stedman.

In the top of the third, Greifelt recorded another quick inning that included two groundouts and a flyout. In the top of the fourth, Greifelt retired all three batters of the inning that kept the Scots off the scoreboard. In the top of the fifth, he recorded his fourth strikeout of the game that led to his fifth scoreless inning.

In the top of the six, Greifelt sent down all three batters he faced that extended his no-hitter through six complete innings. In the bottom frame, Stedman got the inning started with a walk and advanced to third on a single by Groves. With one out and the bases loaded, Karl Peters hit a chopper to third when the throw to home went off the catcher's glove that allowed Groves and Charlson to score that pushed the lead to 5-0. Moments later, Evan Evola extended the lead to 6-0 with a sacrifice fly to right that scored Theodore.

In the top of the seventh, Greifelt's no-hitter was shattered with a lead off single by Eli Marcotte. Greifelt followed up with two strikeouts and a line out that stranded Marcotte on first for his seventh scoreless inning.

In the top of the eighth, Greifelt returned to the mound and allowed a walk and back-to-back singles that ended his incredible outing. Webster called upon reliever Jack Wilson as he issued a bases-loaded walk and a rbi single that made the score 6-2 and ended his day. The Gorloks entered in two-way player Cullen McBride as he struck out the first batter he faced. With two outs and the bases-loaded, LC's Kooper McCoy cut the lead in half at 6-3 with a rbi single.

McBride came back in the box and extended the Gorlok lead to 10-3 with a sacrifice fly that scored Peters. In the top of the ninth, the Gorloks called upon reliever Connor Jackson out of the bullpen as he recorded the final three outs of the game without allowing a hit.

In the bottom of the first, Theodore got the inning started with a lead off single to left and advanced to third on a double to left by Peters. With runners in scoring position, McBride delivered a two-run double to left center that scored Theodore and Peters for the early 2-0 advantage.

Following pitching change by Lyon and a walk drawn by LaRocco, he and McBride executed the double-steal and advantaged 90 feet. With runners in scoring position, Hartz extended the lead to 3-0 with a sacrifice fly that scored McBride.

WU's Hunt and LC's Conrad Muir pitched three scoreless innings each that extended the game to the fifth inning. In the top of the fifth, Lyon added their lone run of the game on a rbi single by Marcotte that made the score 3-1.

In the top of the sixth, Hunt sent down the lead off batter but allowed a single that ended his great outing. Webster called upon reliever Joel Arsenault as he got out of the inning with a 4-6-3 double-play that kept the score at 3-1.

In the top of the seventh, Arsenault had a quick inning that included three consecutive groundouts.  In the bottom half, Theodore led off the inning with a double to right.
