With the bases loaded, Dickens cleared the bases with a triple to left center that cut the deficit to 5-8. Following a pitching change by the Falcons, Abigail Chandler drove in Dickens that made the score 6-8. With one out, Work ripped a double to right center and shortly later advanced to third. With two outs, Work scored on a wild pitch that capped off the five-run inning and cut the deficit to one at 7-8.
