ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the student-athletes who were selected for individual awards in the sport of baseball. The ace of the Webster University baseball team
Ryan Greifelt was named the 2025 SLIAC Baseball Pitcher of the Year.
This season, the sophomore left-hander earned six conference starts and went undefeated with a 6-0 record in 41 innings of work. In those 41 innings, he faced 144 batters and recorded 46 strikeouts, allowed just 24 hits, and recorded a earned-run-average of 1.54. He recorded one complete game in the regular season which was against Spalding University where he collected nine strikeouts and allowed just five hits. The southpaw held opponents to a batting average of .167 and posted a .088 opponent batting average with runners in scoring position.
Greifelt is the first Gorlok to win this award since Matt Mulhearn from the 2021 season.
