GREENSBORO, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3Baseball.com have released the end of season awards from the 2025 NCAA Division III baseball season. WU's Ryan Greifelt was named the NCAA Division III Baseball Region 8 Pitcher of the Year from both ABCA and D3Baseball.com. 

This season, the left-handed ace of the program appeared in 15 games on the mound and recorded a 12-3 overall record. In those 15 appearances, he earned 12 starts and pitched 92 complete innings. In those 92 innings, he posted a 2.74 earned-run-average, held opponents to a batting average of .215 and recorded a team-high 89 strikeouts.
      
In addition, the Chicago, Illinois native achieved a 1.03 WHIP and pitched two complete games against Spalding University which were both victories.
