INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - D3baseball.com has released the 2026 Preseason All-America Teams for the upcoming baseball season. WU's Ryan Greifelt was named to the First Team All-America Team while Carter Hunt was selected to the Second Team All-America Team. The preseason All-America team is chosen from previous year's All-American and All-Region nominations. 

Greifelt enters his junior season coming off a speculator sophomore campaign that included several awards. He was named to the NCAA Division III Region 8 Pitcher of the Year and was a First Team All-Region selection from D3Baseball.com. In addition, he was selected as the SLIAC Pitcher of the Year, SLIAC Tournament Most Valuable Player and All-Tournament Team, and to the First Team All-Conference team. 

The south paw from Chicago, Illinois led the team with 92.0 innings pitched, 89 strikeouts, and two complete games. He posted a 12-3 overall record in 15 appearances that included a 2.74 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP. In addition, he pitched two complete games against Spalding University and the Gorloks won both games.  

Hunt enters his final season of collegiate baseball coming off a great senior season where he was selected to the Region VIII Second Team All-Region Team from D3Baseball.com. In addition, he was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team and SLIAC First Team All-Conference team. 

Hunt is coming off a 9-1 record in 11 starts and 13 appearances from 2025. In those 13 appearances, he threw 64.1 innings of work, recorded a 2.10 ERA, and posted a 1.01 WHIP. In addition, he recorded 65 strikeouts and held opponents to a .203 batting average. Lastly, he pitched one complete game and it was a victory over Spalding.
