Webster Baseball Set To Host NCAA Four-Team Regional At Roy E. Lee Field On The Campus Of SIU Edwardsville May 16-18

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The No. 15 ranked and 2025 SLIAC Champions Webster University baseball team is set to host the 2025 NCAA Division III Baseball Webster Regional On May 16-18 at Roy E. Lee Field on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois. With this host, it marks the fifth time Webster has served as the host institution for the NCAA Regionals. The 2025 NCAA Division III Regionals includes the top 64 teams in the nation that will compete across 16 regions with a double-elimination format.  

To attend this regional, the cost of admission is $5 for adults (17 & older), $3 for children (16 and under), and $3 for students from Regional participating schools (ID Required). There is no charge for children under the age of five-years-old. Admission is cash only.

The Gorloks earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament with a 2025 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) title over Mississippi University for Women. Webster will make their 17th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and 14th under Head Coach Bill Kurich. The Gorloks enters regional play as the top-seeded Region VIII team with a 36-7 overall record, won 23 of the past 24 games, and currently on a nine-game win streak. Webster will begin regional play on May 16, 2025 with a decision against Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) at 11:00AM. 

The three other teams competing in this regional include the following schools;

Belhaven University: Jackson, Mississippi 
The No. 19 ranked Blazers secured their first-ever NCAA Tournament selection with an at-large bid out of the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) with a 31-13 overall record. Since March 28th, Belhaven has recorded a 17-4 record as two of those losses were in their conference tournament. Belhaven will begin regional play on May 16, 2025 with a decision against Rhodes College at 2:30PM.  

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE): Milwaukee, Wisconsin
The Raiders will make their second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance and earned an automatic bid coming off a championship as a member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) with a 27-16 overall record. MSOE enters regional play on a five-game win streak and won eight of their past 10 games. MSOE will begin regional play on May 16, 2025 with a decision against Webster Unviersity at 11:00AM. 

Rhodes College: Memphis, Tennessee
The Lynx will make their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance and earned their first automatic bid since 2018 coming off a Southern Athletics Conference (SAA) title with a 27-16 overall record. Rhodes enters regional play on a four-game win streak and will begin regional play on May 16, 2025 against Belhaven University at 2:30PM.

The winner of the Webster Regional will advance to the Super Regionals and play the winner of the Denison Regional.
