Trissell Earns First Career SLIAC Hitter of the Week Honor

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the student-athletes who were selected for Player of the Week honors for the week of March 9-15. WU's first-year infielder Braedan Trissell was named the SLIAC Hitter of the Week in baseball.

In the game against Milwaukee School of Engineering, Trissell went 2-for-3 that included two singles.

In the game against the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, he went 3-for-5 that included a solo homer, recorded three RBI's, and two runs.

In the game against Hanover College, he went 1-for-4 with a solo homer, drove in two, drew a walk, and scored.

For the week, he went 6-for-12 that included two home runs, five RBI's and three runs. In addition, he recorded a slugging percentage of 1.000.

The Gorloks will open conference play on Friday, March 20th hosting Greenville University at 7:00pm in Sauget, Illinois.
