Kamara and Cashion Sets Two New PR’s; Pavlisko Marks New Hammer PR In Outdoor Opener

FAYETTE, Mo. - The Webster University women's track & field team opened the 2026 outdoor season by competing in the Central Methodist University Open. WU's Aissata Kamara and Sophia Cashion both set two new personal records at this meet while Cali Pavlisko set a new personal record in the Hammer throw event.

In the Hammer throw, Pavlisko set a new personal record with a mark of 40.38m which was on her fourth attempt and earned sixth overall. Cashion set a new personal record with a mark of 32.05m which was on her first attempt.

In the Shot Put, Pavlisko recorded a mark of 11.34m which was on her first attempt that earned sixth overall.

In the Javelin, Cashion set a new personal record with a mark of 37.26m which was her second attempt that earned third place. Pavlisko also competed in the event and recorded a mark of 23.24 which was on her first attempt.

In the Discus, Pavlisko recorded a mark of 22.22m which was on her third attempt.

In the 100m dash, Kamara set a new outdoor personal record with a time of 12.70 seconds that earned eighth place.

In the 200m dash, Kamara set a new personal record with a time of 26.69 seconds.

In the 800m event, Lydia Imboden recorded a time of 3:00.24

In the 1500m run, Violet Hill crossed the finish line with a time of 5:52.13. Brie Inman also competed in this event and recorded a time of 6:33.81.

In the 3000m run, Inman recorded a time of 14:26.12.
