Cody Bradfisch

Cody Bradfisch joins the Webster University basketball program for the 2024-25 season, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for developing players. He has dedicated over 12 years to coaching basketball, from middle school to collegiate competitions.
 
Bradfisch served as the Head Boys' Varsity Basketball Coach at Pacific High School for three seasons from 2020 to 2023. During the 2020-2021 season, he earned the Four Rivers Conference Coach of the Year award, leading his team to an impressive 18-9 overall record and a 6-1 conference record. Under his guidance, Pacific achieved a second-place finish in the Class 5, District 2 bracket. As head coach, Bradfisch helped improve the team's GPA dramatically as ten players were named to the Academic All-Conference Team in his last season. He also helped several players achieve their dream of playing collegiate basketball.
 
Before his time at Pacific, Bradfisch was the Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Warrensburg from 2015 to 2020. His tenure there was marked by success, contributing to a 77-56 (.564) overall record. The Tigers were back-to-back Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC) Champions in 2019 and 2020. They also won a District Title in 2019 with a remarkable 24-4 overall record.
 
Before Warrensburg, Bradfisch spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Thomas University (NAIA) in Thomasville, GA, from 2013 to 2015. He was pivotal in launching the basketball program. At Thomas, Bradfisch was responsible for post-player development, scouting, recruiting, and managing academic study halls. His efforts helped secure three All-Conference selections, a Defensive Player of the Year award, and six Academic All-Conference selections. Notably, he contributed to the program's first-ever win in the Sun Conference Tournament during its second season.
 
As a player, Bradfisch enjoyed a stellar collegiate career at Webster University from 2009 to 2013, where he was part of two SLIAC regular season titles (2011 and 2012) and played a vital role in the 2011 team that finished 20-6 and won the SLIAC Conference Championship, securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament. He served as a two-year captain and earned SLIAC All-Conference honors in 2012. In addition, he was named Webster University's Outstanding Male Scholar Athlete for 2011-2012 and received the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Award in 2013. Academically, Bradfisch was a four-time SLIAC Winter All-Academic Team selection and made the NABC Honors Court in both 2011-12 and 2012-13. Over his career, he played in 93 games, accumulating 867 points, 249 rebounds, 141 assists, and 62 steals while holding the school's career mark for 3-point field goal percentage (39.9%). He ranks in the Top 20 in several career categories, including 3-Point Field Goals Made (10th), Free Throws Made (15th), and Scoring (19th). Additionally, he was named to the All-Decade Men's Basketball Team from the 2010s.
 
A native of Grafton, IL, Bradfisch graduated from Jersey Community High School before earning a degree in Secondary Education Social Studies from Webster University in 2013. He later completed his Master's degree in Middle Grades Education from Thomas University and is pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Administration at Northwest Missouri State University.
 
Bradfisch resides in the area with his wife, Ashley, and their children, Calvin and Celina.
