Landon Kurz

Landon Kurz enters his eighth season as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Webster University. In Kurz’s five seasons as an assistant the Gorloks have won four regular season SLIAC championship (2011-12, 2014-15, 2018-19 and 2019-20) and two SLIAC Tournament titles (2014 and 2020).

Prior to joining the coaching staff at Webster, Kurz was on the coaching staff at the University of Central Missouri.  The Mules compiled a 46-15 record in Kurz’s two seasons in Warrensburg, including an MIAA regular season championship and a trip to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16.

Kurz was at Westminster College (Mo.) from 2004-09, lettering four years as a player, and coaching in 2008-09. The Blue Jays had a record of 73-54 during that stretch, including a 20-8 record in Kurz’s lone season coaching at Westminster.  Kurz received St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference/Tournament honors on three occasions.

He graduated from Westminster in 2008 earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance. He completed his master’s degree in 2011 in Athletic and Sport Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri.

Landon and his wife Maegan reside in Chesterfield, Mo.
