Mike Siener

Mike Siener recently completed his eleventh season as the Webster University men's tennis coach.  Last spring the team finished with a 10-5 overall record and finished 3rd in the conference.  In past years, Siener has also served as the Assistant Coach for the men's basketball team, Head women’s tennis coach, and now is currently the Head Men’s Soccer Coach.

In his eleven seasons, Siener built two successful programs, while being named Coach of the Year 4 times.  During his time as head coach, the Gorlok men’s and women’s tennis teams have had numerous achievements, which include:

Men
1.     Broke school record for wins in 2010(12-4), 2011(13-6), 2012(14-4) and 2013(19-3)  
2.     58-17 overall record and a 18-3 conference record the last 4 seasons
3.     Have broken all six school records, which include most wins in school history(19), most consecutive wins(13), most singles and doubles wins in a year and career.
4.     74-43 overall record for men’s tennis
 
Women
1.     Conference champions and NCAA tournament appearances in 2010 and 2012
2.     83-26 overall record and a 40-4 conference record in the last 8 seasons
3.     Record the last 5 seasons 2009(12-3), 2010(11-5), 2011(9-4), 2012(19-3), 2013(14-2)
4.     Have broken all six school records, which includes most wins in school history(19), most consecutive wins(13), most singles and doubles wins in a year and career.
 
From 2000-2011, Siener spent 11 seasons as the Head Assistant and Associate Head Basketball Coach under David Kaneshiro and Chris Bunch.  Siener served as the recruiting coordinator, Head JV coach, and helped in all phases of coaching.  During these 11 seasons the Gorlok men’s basketball program reached new heights and had several accomplishments, which include:
 
1.     Won 20 games in 2008 and 2011
2.     Won 5 conference titles in 2002, 2005, 2007, 2008, and in 2011
3.     Best record in 11 seasons in the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
4.     Overall record of 163-122 and a conference record of 121-45
From 2013-2016 Siener has served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach.  During those four seasons the Gorloks have won the conference two times.
