Katy Meyer returns to the Webster University in a different role then she had in 2011.  She enters her first year as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team in 2018-19. The 2011 Josten’s Trophy Finalist had a great four year career as she is a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Webster Athletics Hall of Fame member.  
 
“We are very excited to have Katy back a part of our program in a new role from the sidelines. She will be able to relate with our student athletes on and off the court as a former player in our system.”
 
Meyer still remains the school's leader in both 3-Point Field Goals Made and 3-Point Field Goal Percentage and is third in Total Points and fourth in Rebounds in her Webster career. She was named First Team All-Conference her senior year (2011) along with SLIAC Tournament MVP. She was a Second-Team All-SLIAC selection as a junior, as well as, a three time SLIAC ALL-Academic Team member. She helped league Webster to the NCAA Tournament in 2011.
 
After Webster, Katy played in Granada, Spain for one year, and Perugia, Italy for 3 years.
 
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Webster University in 2011. Currently, she is a graduate assistant in the Walker School of Business in Technology and is in her last year of earning her master's degree in International Relations.
