Despite a hard fought effort the Webster University volleyball team was defeated in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday night by Trinity University 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-18) in San Antonio, Texas.

The Gorloks were paced by 6 kills from senior Erin Grobe and juniorJackie Schall.  Mary Jo Schweitzer added in 3 services aces.

Webster ends their season with a record of 23-6 while going undefeated in the SLIAC (18-0).
