Webster Wins Sixth Consecutive SLIAC All-Sports Trophy

Webster University has won the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2010 All-Sports Trophy.  The trophy is awarded to the conference school that has accumulated the most points, based on standings, for the individual sports in which the SLIAC awards championships.

This is the sixth consecutive year, and the 10th in the last 11 years, Webster University has won the All-Sports Trophy.  Webster totalled 92 points in 12 sports, for an average of 7.67 points per sport.  Greenville College finished second with a 6.86 average.
 
The All-Sports Championship is determined by awarding points based on each schools finish in the Conference’s 13 sports, earning nine points for a first-place finish, eight points for a second-place finish, etc.  Webster won titles in four sports:  baseball, softball, volleyball and women's tennis.  The Gorloks also finished second in men’s tennis, men's soccer, women's soccer and tied for second in women's basketball.
