The men's soccer team continued to search for goals as Webster dropped a 1-0 decision to Greenville College (IL) in a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match-up at the Soccer Park on October 19.  Down 1-0 at the half, the Gorloks seemed to find a spark in the second, attacking the Panther goal but unable to break through on the scoreboard.

Alex Cupp (SR, Lutheran South HS) started in goal and allowed the single Greenville tally 15 minutes into the contest, while fighting off several other point blank shots for saves.

The Gorloks fell to 3-2 in the SLIAC and are 6-7-1 overall.  Webster has three games remaining in the regular season and all are SLIAC foes.  The Gorloks host Principia College (IL) on October 22, then face Westminster College on October 26 at the Soccer Park as well.
