Box Score The Webster University baseball team fell to 0-3 with a series finale loss to Hendrix College, 12-3, in Conway, AR, on February 26.  The Gorloks came from behind to take a 3-2 lead, but a two-run sixth regained the lead for Hendrix, and a 7-run seventh for the Warriors put the game out of reach for Webster.

The Gorloks scored all three of their runs in the sixth inning.  Colin Bates (JR, Indian Hills CC, IL) muscled up for a two-run homer, after Alex Kazmierski (JR, Triton CC, IL) had doubled in Webster's first run.  Cody Hafeli (JR, Kankakee CC, IL) made his first start for the Gorloks, allowing eights hits and two earned runs in six innings.  Hafeli walked two, and struck out two, as he took the loss.

Webster will be back in action on March 3 for its home opener at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, IL.  The Gorloks will take on Grinnell College (IA) at noon and will face Millikin University (IL) at 6:00 p.m.  Sandwiched in between will be a contest between Grinnell and Millikin at 3:00 p.m.  The same three teams will play another triple-header the following day on March 4, with the Gorloks playing at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
