Box Score Entering the contest as the only SLIAC team without a loss in conference, the Webster University remained undefeated, with a 1-1 2OT tie with Principia College, on October 21 at the Soccer Park. Fontbonne improved to 6-1 in the SLIAC with a win over MacMurray College as the Gorloks slipped to 5-0-2. Too long to explain here, the SLIAC's tie-breaker process can be found
HERE. With all three teams still having two conference games to go, and Principia at 5-1-1 lurking in the title hunt as well, anything can happen..
In the first half, after play mostly between the penalty boxes, Webster struck at the 30:42 mark. Juan Garcia (SO, St. Charles, MO/Duchesne) had the ball to the right of the Principia box and passed it back to Joacquin Soto (FR, Flagstaff, AZ/Flagstaff) who buried a shot from the top of the box for his second goal of the season.

Principia finally got on the scoreboard at 77:58, when a trailing pass was caught up to by a Panther, about 10 yards out from the Webster goal. His left-footed shot was just out of Hertel's reach and the game was tied at 1-1.
Principia had the best chance in the overtime period to score when the Panthers had the ball just outside the Webster goal box with 25 seconds remaining in the second OT, but Hertel snagged the Principia shot to secure the tie. Hertel had two saves in the game and is 5-4-1 on the season..
