FENTON, Mo. - Webster University recorded season highs in both goals (10) and shots (60) en route to posting a 10-0 victory over Blackburn here Tuesday in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Pink Out Night at Worldwide Technology Soccer Park.
With the victory, Webster, who is ranked eighth in this week's United Soccer Coaches Central Region rankings, improves to 11-2-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the SLIAC, while Blackburn falls to 2-11-0 overall and 0-4-0 in the league.
The victory also extended Webster's win streak to four straight matches and through four SLIAC matches, the Gorloks have scored 27 goals and have taken 163 shots, while allowing just one goal and 14 shots. WU has posted shutouts in four of its last six matches.
The 60 shots in Tuesday's  match is tied for the seventh most shots ever recorded in a match in school history, while the 10 goals are the most goals scored by the Gorloks in a match since tallying 12 goals in a 12-0 win last season against Eureka.Â
While its offense recorded 60 shots, 29 shots on goal and scored 10 goals, Webster's defense limited the Beavers without a shot in the 90 minute contest. It is the first time this season Webster has held an opponent without a shot and first time since holding MacMurray without a shot last season.Â

Sophmore defender

It was the second two goal game of the season for Page as she also had two goals in WU's 5-0 win this past Saturday at Principia.
