BELLEVILLE, Ill. - Webster University had 15 of its winter sport student-athletes named to the 2019-20 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Winter All-Academic Team that was released by the league office on Thursday afternoon. The 15 student-athletes were third-most among the league's 10 member institutions as Greenville had a league best 29 total selections and Principia was second with 16 total selections. 
 

The Gorlok women's track and field team had eight student-athletes recognized, while the women's basketball team had four selections and the men's track and field team had three selections. 
 

Along with Greenville's 29, Principia's 16 and Webster's 15 selections, Fontbonne University had 14 selections, while Iowa Wesleyan had 10 selections and Spalding University had nine overall selections. Blackburn College and Westminster (Mo.) College each had four selections, Eureka College had two selections and MacMurray College had one student-athlete recognized. 

The SLIAC Winter All-Academic team had a total of 104 student-athletes total from around the conference honored. In order to earn All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must hold a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and have been enrolled in at least one full year at their current institution.
