2010s All-Decade Teams: Baseball

Over the next several weeks, Webster University Athletics Department will be releasing its All-Decade Teams of the 2010s. For a full schedule of the teams set to be released, click here.
 
WEBSTER GROVES – Webster University Athletics is nearing the conclusion of unveiling its All-Decade Teams from the 2010s as it compiles the best student-athletes across the past 10 seasons (2010-19) in each of Webster's intercollegiate athletic teams. Our 16th and second to last team to be unveiled is the 2010-19 All-Decade Baseball Team.
 
Perhaps the most successful program in the 2010s decade for Webster University Athletics was its baseball program as the Gorloks won the regular season St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship all 10 years of the decade and advanced to the NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament nine times in 10 years, including advancing to the Division III World Series four times (2012, 2013, 2015 and 2019) in the decade. Along with winning 10 consecutive regular season SLIAC titles, earning nine appearances in the NCAA Tournament and making four trips to the World Series, Webster also won eight SLIAC Tournament titles as they opened the decade winning five straight tournament titles and then closed the decade by winning the final three tournament titles of the decade. In addition, Webster posted a 343-125 overall record and a 199-29 mark in SLIAC play, including winning 20-plus league games six times in 10 years and going 25-0 in SLIAC action in 2014. The 25 league wins in 2014 are a school record. Additionally, the Gorloks won 30 or more games eight times in the decade, including winning a school record 38 games in 2018 and posting a 38-10 record that season. Over the last two years of the decade (2018-19), Webster posted a 75-23 overall record and a 38-6 mark in SLIAC play.
 
Along with the team successes on the field during the last 10 years, that success also translated into recognition for Webster's players as the 27 players on the All-Decade Team earned All-SLIAC honors a combined 58 times, including earning first team honors a combined 29 times, with three players – Isaac Behme, Cody Stevenson and Matt Wollnik – each earning All-SLIAC accolades four times. In addition, the members of the All-Decade Team earned a combined 18 All-American selections, including 11 from ABCA/Rawlings, 11 from D3Baseball.com and two from the Jewish Sports Review and a combined 40 All-Region honors. Three players on the All-Decade Team – Fleming, Taylor Stoulp, Kyle Uhrich – took home a combined four First-Team All-American honors.
 
Additionally, the All-Decade Team members earned combined nine SLIAC Player, Pitcher or Newcomer of the Year honors, a combined 16 SLIAC All-Tournament Team accolades and four took members of the All-Decade Team took home SLIAC Tournament MVP honors. Two members of the All-Decade Team earned ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, while three different All-Decade Team members earned a combined four NCAA Division III National Statistical championships and the All-Decade Team members earned a combined 10 selections of the NCAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selections.
 
One of the All-Decade Team members – Fleming – was named the D3Baseball.com Division III Pitcher of the Year in 2017 and was selected in the fifth round (139th pick overall) of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays and another All-Decade Team member – Craig Schaefer – was selected to the Webster Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020.
 
In addition, the All-Decade Team members earned four ABCA/Rawlings Region Pitcher of the Year accolades and earned a combined 14 SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team honors. The All-Decade Team members took home a combined 43 SLIAC Player of the Week accolades as there were 25 SLIAC Hitters of the Week and 18 SLIAC Pitchers of the Week respectively.
 
Listed below is the 27-member Webster Athletics Baseball Team of the Decade for the 2010s. Players were selected by head coach Bill Kurich and the All-Decade Team players are listed alphabetically by position.
 
First Base
Tom Henke (St. Louis, Mo. – 2011-12)
Henke's Career Stats
Henke played in the first part of the decade for the Gorloks and in those two years, the Forest Park Community College transfer was a two-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning first team honors in 2012. Along with earning two All-SLIAC selections, Henke was named the SLIAC Player of the Year in 2012 and also named the SLIAC Tournament MVP in 2012. In addition, he was a Second-Team All-Central Region selection by both the ABCA and D3Basebll.com and was named to the NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team in 2012. Additionally, he was a two-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week. During his career at Webster, Henke played in 90 games and made 90 starts and in those 90 games, he was a career .380 hitter as he recorded 124 hits, scored 84 runs, hit 22 doubles, had one triple, 11 home runs and recorded 83 RBI. He also drew 35 walks, struck out 30 times in 326 career at-bats and was 27-for-39 in career stolen bases. His 75 hits in 2012 are second most in a season in school history, while his career .380 batting average is fourth on the school's all-time list. In addition, he was fifth in career putouts (680), sixth in career on-base percentage (.453), eighth in career fielding percentage (.996), 11th in career slugging percentage (.555), 14th in career home runs (11) and is 20th in career hits (124).
 
Kyler Kent (Pottsboro, Texas – 2017-present)
Kent's Career Stats
Kent is one of four current Gorloks that have been named to the All-Decade Team as he earns his spot at first base after being a two-time All-SLIAC selection in 2018 and 2019 and earning First-Team All-SLIAC honors in 2018. Along with his two All-SLIAC selections, Kent was also named a Third-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American in 2018 and was a First-Team All-Central Region selection by both the ABCA and D3Baseball.com in 2018. In 2019, he was named to the NCAA Whitewater Regional All-Tournament Team and also earned a spot on the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2018. Additionally, he was a two-time SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team selection in 2018 and 2019 and earned a SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week accolade in 2018. In the final three years of the decade, Kent played in 123 games and made 104 starts and is a career .338 hitter. His 83 hits in 2018 are tops on the school's single season chart, while his 1.000 fielding percentage in 2018 is also tied for first on the school's single season chart. He has recorded 158 career hits, scored 90 career runs, has hit 26 career doubles, 13 career home runs and 96 career RBI. In addition, he has walked 38 times and is 19-for-27 on career stolen bases. Along with holding the school's single season record in both hits and fielding percentage, he also is tied for the single game school record for hits as he rapped out five hits at Iowa Wesleyan in 2018 and drew a school record tying four walks against Rhode Island College in 2019. He holds the school's all-time school record for career fielding chances (1,003), putouts (951) and is 10th in career at-bats (467), career fielding percentage (.990) and tied for 10th in career home runs (13). Kent is also 12th in career hits with 158 and is 13th in career total bases (223) and is 14th in career RBI (96).
 
Second Base
Taylor Stoulp (St. Louis, Mo. – 2012-14)
Stoulp's Career Stats
Early in the decade, Stoulp became one of the top hitters in school history as he played for three years from 2012-14. Stoulp earns his spot on the All-Decade Team at second base after being a three-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning First-Team All-SLIAC honors in 2013 and 2014. Along with being a three-time All-SLIAC selection, he earned First-Team D3Baseball.com All-American honors in 2014 and Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American honors in 2014. In addition, he was a First-Team D3Baseball.com All-Region selection in 2014 and a third team selection in 2013 and was a First-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Region selection in 2014. Was a two-time SLIAC All-Tournament Team selection, including being the SLIAC Tournament MVP in 2014. Stoulp was named as the NCAA South Regional Tournament MVP in 2012 and was also named to the NCAA Division III Championships All-Tournament Team in 2012. Additionally, he took home three SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week accolades in 2014. During his time as a Gorlok, he played in 142 games and made 141 starts and was a career .368 hitter, including hitting .402 as a senior in 2014. In his career, he is second in career hits with 204, third in career RBI with 129, fourth in career doubles with 42, tied for fourth in career runs scored with 138 and is fifth in career at-bats with 555. His .368 batting average is eighth in school history and the 142 games played are 11th in school history. Holds the school single season mark for at-bats (198 in 2012) and is second in assists (147 in 2012) and third in hits (74 in 2012). Walked 64 times and struck out just 71 times in 555 career at-bats.
 
Danny Strohm (St. Louis, Mo. – 2018-19)
Strohm's Career Stats
Strohm played the final two years of the decade for the Gorloks after transferring from Greenville University prior to the start of the 2017-18 school year. In his time as a Gorlok, he became one of the top second basemen in school history as he earned an ABCA/Rawlings Division III Gold Glove Award in 2019. Along with his Gold Glove Award, he was a two-time SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team selection in both 2018 and 2019. During his two year career at Webster, Strohm played in 93 games and made 90 starts and was a career .287 hitter. He recorded 88 career hits, scored 48 career runs, hit 21 career doubles, one career triple, two career home runs and recorded 72 career RBI. Additionally, he was 15-for-19 on stolen bases and posted a .986 career fielding percentage as he had just six errors in 210 career fielding chances. As a Gorlok, he ranks fourth in career sacrifice hits (15), sixth in career double plays turned (62), eighth in career assists (210) and 19th in career fielding percentage (.986).
 
Shortstop
Matt Staker (El Cajon, Calif. – 2018-present)
Staker's Career Stats
The second of four current Gorloks on the All-Decade Team, Staker earns his spot at shortstop after earning First-Team All-SLIAC honors as a sophomore in 2019. Along with his First-Team All-SLIAC selection, Staker was a two-time selection to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team and was also named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2018. In addition, he was selected to the NCAA Whitewater Regional All-Tournament Team in 2019 and was a SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team selection in 2019. In his brief time so far at Webster, Staker has become one of the top shortstops in Division III as he has played in all 111 games and made 111 starts the past three years, including playing in and starting all 98 games over the final two years of the decade. In those 111 games, he is a .278 career hitter and has recorded 88 career hits, 69 career runs, 11 doubles, two home runs and 62 RBI. Additionally, he has walked 54 times, struck out 46 times in 317 career at-bats and is 18-for-22 in career stolen bases. Is tied for the school's single game record in walks as he drew four walks against UMass-Boston in 2019 and also holds the school's single game record for assists with 11 against Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2020. Staker currently holds the school's all-time record in sacrifice hits (29) and is second in career hit by pitches (36), fourth in career assists (330) and double plays turned (72), sixth in career walks (54) and also holds school single season marks in sacrifice hits (14 in 2019).
 
Matt Wollnik (Naperville, Ill. – 2014-17)
Wollnik's Career Stats
During his four year career as a Gorlok, Wollnik earned his All-Decade spot at shortstop after being just one of two players on the All-Decade Team to earn All-SLIAC honors four times, including being a First-Team All-SLIAC selection as a senior in 2017. Along with being a four-time All-SLIAC selection, he was also the second member of the All-Decade Team to earn an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award in 2014 as Danny Strohm was the other Gold Glove winner. In addition, he was tabbed a Third-Team D3Baseball.com All-Central Region selection in 2017 and earned SLIAC All-Tournament honors in 2014. Additionally, he was named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team in 2015 and took home a SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week accolade in 2017. In his career, he played in and started 176 games and was a career .296 hitter, along with that, he recorded 184 career hits, scored 113 runs, hit 36 doubles, four triples, six home runs and has had 104 RBI. Wollnik also drew 34 walks, was 17-for-28 on stolen bases and struck out 54 times in 622 career at-bats. He holds the school's all-time record in career games started (176), career assists (542), career double plays turned (111) and is second in career at-bats (622), career games played (176), career fielding chances (840). In addition, he is fifth in career hits (184), eighth in career doubles (36), ninth in total bases (246) and 10th in RBI (104). Wollnik also holds the school's single season mark for assists (151 in 2014) and recorded 10 assists in two different games and those 10 assists are tied for second-most in a single game in school history.
 
Third Base
Anthony Genna (Willow Springs, Ill. – 2010-11)
Genna's Career Stats
In the first two years of the decade, Genna made quite a mark as a third baseman as he was a two-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning first team honors in 2011. Along with earning two All-SLIAC selections, he earned Honorable Mention D3Baseball.com All-American honors in 2011 and was a Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region honoree in 2011. In addition, he was named the SLIAC Player of the Year in 2011 and also earned SLIAC Tournament MVP honors in 2011. Additionally, he was two-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week as he earned the honor in both 2010 and 2011. During his time at Webster, he played in 82 games and made 80 starts and in those 82 games, he recorded 110 hits, scored 86 runs, hit 18 doubles, hit two triples, nine home runs and tallied 76 RBI. He also walked 34 times, went 36-for-45 in stolen bases and struck out 36 times in 299 career at-bats. His .368 career batting average is seventh in school history, while his 36 stolen bases are tied for 12th in school history and his .532 career slugging percentage is 16th in school history.
 
Ben Swords (Freeport, Ill. – 2018-present)
Swords' Career Stats
Another of the four current Gorloks named to the All-Decade Team, Swords earns his spot at third base after earning two All-SLIAC honors in 2018 and 2019, including being a first team selection in 2019. Along with being a two-time All-SLIAC selection, Swords was a Third-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American in 2019 and earned First-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region honors in 2019 and Second-Team D3Baseball.com All-Central Region accolades in 2019. Was also named to the NCAA Whitewater Regional All-Tournament Team in 2019 and also was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2019. In addition, he also earned a SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week accolade in 2019. Since his arrival at Webster, Swords has played in and started all 111 games the past three seasons and in those 111 games, he is a career .359 hitter and has recorded 147 career hits, scored 103 runs, hit 41 doubles, four triples, eight home runs and has had 106 RBI, including 52 RBI as a sophomore in 2019. He has also walked 49 times, is 40-for-47 on stolen bases and has struck out 71 times in 410 career at-bats. In his career, he is fifth in career doubles (41), sixth in career assists (221), eighth in career RBI (106), tied for 10th in walks (49), tied for 11th in career triples (4), 12th in career runs scored (103), 13th in career batting average (.359) and 15th in career hits (147). His 50 games played and 50 games started are tied for first on the school's single season chart. Additionally, he tied a school record with five runs scored in 2019 against Concordia-Chicago and his two home runs at Principia in 2019 are tied for fourth on the school's single game list.
 
Catcher
Joe Swanson (Park Ridge, Ill. – 2017-20)
Swanson's Career Stats
Swanson lettered at Webster for four years from 2017-20 and in that time, he was a two-time All-SLIAC selection in both 2018 and 2019. Along with being a two-time All-SLIAC honoree, he was also a three-time SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team selection in 2018, 2019 and 2020. In his time as a Gorlok, Swanson played in 121 games and made 110 starts and was a .297 career hitter. He recorded 112 career hits, scored 58 career runs, hit 18 doubles, one triple, two home runs and tallied 60 RBI. Additionally, he drew 25 walks and was 15-for-22 on stolen bases. Swanson sits third in career putouts (727), fourth in both runners picked off (11) and career fielding chances (824), tied for eighth in hit by pitches (22) and 18th in career games started (110).
 
Designated Hitter/First Base
Craig Schaefer (Carterville, Ill. – 2008-11)
Schaefer's Career Stats
Despite having his career span two decades, Schaefer played the final two years of the 2000s and the first two years of the 2010s. In the decade, he was a two-time All-SLIAC selection in 2010 and 2011 and earned four All-SLIAC accolades overall in his career as he was also selected in 2008 and 2009. Along with earning two All-SLIAC accolades in the decade, he was a Third-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region selection in 2010. During the decade, Schaefer played in and started 90 games and recorded 112 hits, scored 70 runs, hit 22 doubles, hit two triples, hit 12 home runs and tallied 73 RBI. Additionally, he drew 19 walks, struck out 30 times in 326 at-bats and was 10-for-14 in stolen bases. In 2010, he hit .349 with 61 hits, 41 runs scored, 12 doubles, nine home runs and 41 RBI. In his four year playing career, he holds the school record for career RBI with 158 and is second in career doubles (44) and total bases (324), third in career hits (200), tied for third in games played (167), fourth in career home runs (24), tied for fourth in career runs scored (138) and 12th in career slugging percentage (.547). His nine home runs in 2010 are tied for eighth on the school's single season list. This past February, Schaefer was inducted into the Webster Athletics Class of 2020 Hall of Fame.
 
Kyle Uhrich (St. Louis, Mo. – 2015-17)
Uhrich's Career Stats
Perhaps one of the top power hitters in the program's history, Uhrich played three years late in the decade and in those three years, he was a three-time First-Team All-SLIAC selection. Along with earning three First-Team All-SLIAC selections, he was a five All-American as he earned Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American honors in 2015 and 2017 and was a three-time D3Baseball.com All-All-American as he was a first team selection in 2017, a third team honoree in 2016 and an honorable mention selection in 2015. He was also a three-time All-Central Region selection by both ABCA/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com as he earned first team accolades from the ABCA in both 2017 and 2015 and second team honors from the ABCA in 2016 and was a three-time first team honoree from D3Baseball.com. In addition, he was the NCAA Division III National Statistical Champion in K's per 9 innings in 2017 and was the NCAA Division III National Statistical Champion in home runs in 2015. Earned four SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week honors, including two honors in 2017 and was also a two-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week during the 2017 season. Uhrich also took home an NCBWA Division III Honorable Mention Hitter of the Week accolade in 2015. In his three years at Webster, Uhrich played in and made 135 career starts and posted a .326 career batting average. Uhrich recorded 170 career hits, scored 99 caree runs, hit 38 doubles, six triples, 34 home runs and tallied 140 RBI. Additionally, he drew 45 walks and was 9-for-14 in stolen bases. Holds the school's all-time record in home runs (34) and also holds the school's single season mark for home runs with 17 in 2015 and is also is tied for the school's single game record with three home runs against Principia in 2016. He also is tied for the school's single game mark for hits (5 at Blackburn in 2016), doubles (3 at Eureka in 2016) and his 6 RBI in 2017 against Greenville is sixth on the school's single game chart. Along with holding the school's all-time mark for home runs, he is also second in career RBI (140), second in career putouts (766), third in career slugging percentage (.617), third in career total bases (322), tied for fifth in career triples (6), sixth in career at-bats (522), seventh in carrer doubles (38), eighth in career hits (170) and his 63 RBI in 2015 is tied for second on the single season chart. In addition, Uhrich made 25 appearances and six starts on the mound in his career and in 2017, he made 18 appearances and was 7-3 with a 2.29 ERA and recorded two complete games and had four saves. In 69 innings in 2017, he allowed 26 hits, 18 runs, 15 earned runs, while walking 25 and fanning 90. The 90 strikeouts are fourth most in a single season in school history and he also is tied for the school's single game record for strikeouts as he recorded 16 at Westminster (Mo.) in 2017.
 
Utility Player
Jeff Kammer (Chesterfield, Mo. – 2014-16)
Kammer's Career Stats
Kammer, who played catcher, first base and third base, played three years with the Gorloks and in those three years, he was a three-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning first team accolades in 2015. Along with earning three All-SLIAC honors, he was a three-time All-Central Region selection as he earned ABCA/Rawlings honors in both 2015 (second team) and 2106 (third team) and was a Third-Team D3Baseball.com All-Region selection in 2015. In addition, he was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2015 and was a two-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week as he took home the honors in both 2015 and 2016. In 2015, he earned both an NCBWA National Player of the Week and D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honoree. During his career as a Gorlok, he played in 124 games and made 120 starts and posted a career batting average of .330. He recorded 148 career hits, scored 91 career runs, hit 35 doubles, one triple, 26 home runs and 110 RBI. Additionally, he walked 32 times and was 22-for-34 in stolen bases. Kammer sits third in career home runs (26), seventh in career RBI (110), seventh in career total bases (263), tied for ninth in career doubles (35), 12th in career starts (120), 13th in career at-bats (448) and 14th in career hits (148).
 
Outfielders
Alex Kazmierski (Orland Park, Ill. – 2012-13)
Kazmierski's Career Stats
The first of the six outfielders named to the All-Decade Team, Kazmierski played two seasons at Webster in 2012-13 after transferring from Triton College. In his two seasons as a Gorlok, he was a two-time First-Team All-SLIAC selection. Along with being a two-time First-Team All-SLIAC selection, he was named a Second-Team All-Central Region selection by both ABCA/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com in 2012. He was named the NCAA Central Regional Tournament MVP in 2013 as he helped lead Webster to back-to-back Division III World Series appearances. In addition, he was a three-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week as he earned two accolades in 2013 and one accolade in 2012 and was also named a D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honoree in 2013. As a Gorlok, he played 87 games and made 86 career starts and recorded a .319 career batting average. He tallied 96 career hits, scored 60 career runs, hit 20 career doubles, two career triples, 13 career home runs and recorded 69 career RBI. Additionally, he walked 38 times, was 20-for-27 in stolen bases and struck out 60 times in 301 career at-bats. Sits 10th in school history in career home runs (13), tied for 12th in hit by pitches (19), 17th in career slugging percentage (.528), 19th in career on-base percentage (.424) and 20th in career fielding percentage (.986).
 
Corey Lasky (Vernon Hills, Ill. – 2013-14)
Lasky's Career Stats
Lasky earns his spot on the All-Decade Team as an outfielder after playing for two years as a Gorlok in 2013 and 2014. In his two seasons at Webster, Lasky was a two-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning First-Team All-SLIAC accolades in 2014. Along with his two All-SLIAC selections, he was a First-Team All-Central Region selection by both ABCA/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com during the 2014 season. Additionally, he earned back-to-back First-Team Jewish Sports Review All-American honors in 2013 and 2014 and was also named to the NCAA Central Regional All-Tournament Team in 2014. During his time at Webster, he played in 91 games and made 89 starts and posted a career batting average of .362. He recorded 131 career hits, scored 91 career runs, hit 17 career doubles, seven career triples, three career home runs and tallied 55 career RBI. In addition, he was 38-for-48 in career stolen bases, including swiping 24 bases in 2013. Is tied for the school's single record for hits as he collected five hits at WashU in 2013 and in that same game, he also tied for single game record for triples with two and is also tied for the school's single game record for at-bats as he had eight at Westminster (Mo.) in 2014. Lasky is third in career triples (7), 11th in career stolen bases (38), 12th in career batting average (.362), tied for 12th in career fielding percentage (.989), 17th in career hits (131). In addition, he had five triples in 2013 and those five triples are tied for second on the school's single season chart, while his 62 hits in 2014 are tied for fourth on the single season list.
 
Cody Stevenson (Salem, Ill. – 2010-13)
Stevenson's Career Stats
In the opening four years of the decade, Stevenson made an impression as a Gorlok in the outfield as in his time at Webster, he was a four-time First-Team All-SLIAC selection and is one of three All-Decade Players to earn All-SLIAC honors four times. Along with his four First-Team All-SLIAC selections, he was named the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year in 2010 and was a Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region selection in 2012. Additionally, Stevenson took home an NCAA Division III National Statistical Champion in stolen bases in 2011 and earned a spot on the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2013. Stevenson was also named to the NCAA Central Regional All-Tournament Team in 2013 and was a three-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week as he took home one honor each in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He played in 180 games and made 175 starts as a Gorlok and recorded a career batting average of .311. He holds career school records in games played (180), at-bats (636), runs scored (206), triples (13), walks (100), stolen bases (165) and is third in career hit by pitches (34), fourth in career hits (198) and tied for ninth in career doubles (35). In addition, he holds single season school records in triples (7 in 2012) and stolen bases (59 in 2012). Those 59 stolen bases are tied for 12th on the NCAA Division III single-season record book and his 155 career steals are fifth on the NCAA Division III career record chart. Nate Tholl (Tinley Park, Ill. – 2017-19)
Tholl's Career Stats
Tholl played over the final three years of the decade and in those three seasons, he was an All-SLIAC selection as a senior in 2019. Along with earning his All-SLIAC accolade in 2019, Tholl, who is currently an assistant coach for the Gorloks, earned the Webster Athletics Inspiration Award in 2019 and also named a D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honoree in 2019. In his career, he played in 132 games and made 112 starts and posted a career batting average of .306. In addition, he recorded 118 career hits, scored 83 career runs, hit 29 career doubles, hit two career triples, had three career home runs and tallied 51 career RBI. Additionally, he drew 36 walks and was 42-for-48 in stolen bases, including stealing 23 bases in 2019, which is tied for 11th on the school's single season chart. Sits fourth on the school's career list in hit by pitches (30), sixth in career stolen bases (42), tied for ninth in career sacrifice hits (10), 15th in career starts (112) and was also 15th in career doubles (29). In 2018, he recorded a fielding percentage of 1.000 and that is tied for first on the school's single season chart, while in 2019 he was hit by 18 pitches, which is second on the school's single season chart.
 
Victor Valdez (Wheaton, Ill. – 2010)
Valdez's Career Stats
The only player on the All-Decade Team to play just one season as a Gorlok, but despite playing only one season, Valdez made an impact as he earned Honorable Mention All-SLIAC honors and was also named a First-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region selection. In addition, he was also named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team and was tabbed to the NCAA Central Region All-Tournament Team. Additionally, Valdez took home two SLIAC Hitter of the Week honors during the 2010 season. During the 2010 season, Valdez played in and started all 46 games and hit .385. In those 46 games, he recorded 67 hits, scored 52 runs, hit 13 doubles, three triples, 16 home runs and drove home 70 runs. In addition, he walked 20 times and was 4-for-10 on stolen bases. The 16 home runs are second most in a season in school history, while his 70 RBI are first in single season school history. In addition, the 16 home runs are ninth on the school's all-time chart, while the three triples are tied for 18th on the school's career chart.
 
Conner Wardlaw (Arnold, Mo. – 2017-18)
Wardlaw's Career Stats
The final member of the All-Decade Outfield is Wardlaw as he played for two seasons (2017-18) with the Gorloks. In his two years at Webster, Wardlaw was a Third-Team D3Baseball.com All-Central Region selection in 2018 and was also named to the NCAA Central Regional All-Tournament Team in 2018. During his two-year career, he played in and started 89 games and recorded a .328 career batting average. In his time as a Gorlok, he tallied 107 career hits, scored 66 career runs, hit 24 career doubles, hit three career home runs and had 48 career RBI. Additionally, he drew 31 walks and was 40-for-49 in career stolen bases. Tied for the single game record in doubles as he rapped out three doubles against Birmingham Southern at the NCAA Central Regional Tournament in 2017. His 40 career stolen bases are tied for eighth on the school's career chart, while his 26 stolen bases in 2107 is seventh-most in a single season in program history.

Isaac Behme (Harrisburg, Ill. – 2012-15)
Behme's Career Stats
Behme earns his spot on the All-Decade Team as a starting pitcher after lettering for four seasons and earning four All-SLIAC selections, including being a three-time First-Team All-SLIAC selection in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Along with being a four-time All-SLIAC selection, he earned All-Central Region honors in both 2013 and 2014 as he was a two-time ABCA/Rawlings All-Region selection and a two-time SLIAC Second-Team D3Baseball.com All-Region selection. Additionally, he was the SLIAC Pitcher of the Year in 2014 and also earned the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year honor in 2012. He was a two-time SLIAC All-Tournament Team selection in 2012 and 2013 and was a three-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week as he won two honors in 2012 and one honor in 2014. In his Webster career, he made 55 appearances and 50 starts and in recorded a 30-12 record and a 2.98 career ERA. He recorded 11 complete games, three shutouts and tossed 314.1 innings. In those 314.1 innings, he allowed 278 hits, 134 runs, 104 earned runs, while striking out 257 and walking 100. Behme holds career school marks for wins (30), starts (50), innings pitched (314.1), strikeouts (257) and is tied for second in career complete games (11) and shutouts (3) and is fourth in career appearances (55). His 15 starts in 2015 are tied for first on the school's single season chart, while his 10 wins in 2013 are tied for second most on the school's single season list. Recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts two times and those 14 strikeouts are tied for fifth on the school's single game chart.
 
Jack Bensinger (Los Angeles, Calif. – 2012, '14-16)
Bensinger's Career Stats
Bensinger earns his spot on the All-Decade Team as a starting pitcher after lettering for four years and in those four years, he was a First-Team All-SLIAC selection as a senior in 2016. Along with his First-Team All-SLIAC honor, Bensinger was a Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American in 2016 and also earned ABCA/Rawlings Central Region Pitcher of the Year that same season. In addition, he earned First-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region honors in 2016 and was a Second-Team D3Baseball.com All-Central Region selection in 2016. Additionally, he was a SLIAC All-Tournament Team honoree in 2016 and also earned a SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week in 2014. During his All-American campaign in 2016, he was 9-2 with a 1.56 ERA and in 12 appearances and 12 starts, tossed five complete games, one shutout, had 62 strikeouts and walked 13. In his Webster career, he made 32 appearances and 18 starts and compiled a 13-4 record and a 1.94 career ERA. In 139.1 career innings, he allowed 105 hits, 37 runs, 30 earned runs, while striking out 107 and walking 32. His career 1.94 ERA is second-best in school history, while his 13 wins are tied for 16th in school history.
 
Steven Dooley (Oran, Mo. - 2011-13)
Dooley's Career Stats
Dooley played early in the decade as he lettered as a Gorlok from 2011-13 and in those three seasons, he was a two-time All-SLIAC selection as he was selected in both 2011 and 2013. In addition, he was a First-Team All-SLIAC selection in 2013 and also was an ABCA/Rawlings Third-Team All-American in 2013. Along with his two All-SLIAC selections and his All-American accolade, he was also named the ABCA/Rawlings Central Region Pitcher of the Year in 2013 and earned All-Central Region honors from both ABCA/Rawlings (first team) and D3Baseball.com (second team). Dooley also took home both SLIAC Pitcher of the Year and SLIAC Tournament MVP honors in 2013. Additionally, he was a SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week during the 2013 season. During the 2013 season, Dooley went 10-3 with a 2.69 ERA and in 16 appearances and 14 starts, he tossed two complete games, threw 93.2 innings and recorded 71 strikeouts and 20 walks. In his four years, he made 58 appearances, 28 starts and compiled a 10-3 record with a 2.69 ERA. Dooley also tossed six complete games, recorded nine career saves, threw 250.1 innings and tallied 209 strikeouts and 80 walks. In his career, he is second in career appearances (58), second in career innings pitched (250.1), tied for second in career saves (9), fifth in career wins (21), fifth in career strikeouts (209). He also holds the single season record for appearances as he made 26 in 2012, while his 10 wins in 2013 are tied for second on the school's single season chart and his seven saves in 2012 is third on the school's single season chart.
 
Josh Fleming (Columbia, Ill. – 2015-17)
Fleming's Career Stats
Perhaps the one of the top pitchers, not only in school history, but also in NCAA Division III, Fleming was a three-year lettermen for the Gorloks and in those three years, he was a three-time All-SLIAC selection, including a First-Team selection in 2015 and 2017. While Fleming was a three-time All-SLIAC selection and a two-time First-Team All-SLIAC honoree, he was also named the D3Baseball.com National Pitcher of the Year in 2017 and was drafted in the fifth round (139th overall pick) in the 2017 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays and is currently on the Rays 60-man roster for the shortened 2020 season. Along with being the Division III National Pitcher of the Year in 2017, Fleming was a First-Team ABCA/Rawlings and a D3Baseball.com All-American that same season. In addition, he was also a two-time ABCA/Rawlings All-Region selection as he was a first team honoree in 2017 and a second team selection in 2015 and earned First-Team D3Baseball.com All-Region honors in both 2015 and 2017. He was also named the Central Region Pitcher of the Year in 2017 by both the ABCA and D3Baseball.com. In 2017, he was named the SLIAC Pitcher of the Year and was also named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team and earned a spot in the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in both 2015 and 2017. The righthander also was named the 2016-17 Webster Athletics Male Student-Athlete of the Year, took home the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year honor in 2015 and was a three-time SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week. During his Division III National Pitcher of the Year season in 2017, Fleming went 8-1 with an 0.68 ERA and in 13 starts and 13 appearances, he recorded a single season school record eight complete games and had two shutouts. Additionally, he tossed 92.2 innings and allowed 54 hits, 13 runs, seven earned runs, while striking out 115 and walking 12. Fleming also captured the 2017 NCAA Division III National Statistical Championship in ERA as he recorded an ERA of 0.68, which is tops in single season school history. In his three year career as a Gorlok, Fleming made 33 appearances, 31 starts, compiled a 19-5 record and tallied a 1.91 career ERA. Along with that, he tossed 11 complete games, four shutouts and in 211.2 innings, he allowed 177 hits, 62 runs, 45 earned runs, while striking out 251 and walking 29. He holds the school's career marks for ERA (1.91), most career strikeouts per 9 innings (10.67), most career shutouts (4) and was tied for second in career complete games with 251. Fleming also holds single season pitching records in complete game (8 in 2017) and strikeouts (115 in 2017).
 
David Mueller (Webster Groves, Mo. – 2010-12)
Mueller's Career Stats
At the beginning of the decade, Mueller lettered for three seasons and in those three seasons, he was a three-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning First-Team All-SLIAC honors in 2012. Along with being a three-time All-SLIAC selection, Mueller was a Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American in 2012 and also earned the ABCA/Rawlings Central Region Pitcher of the Year that same year. In addition, he was a three-time ABCA/Rawlings All-Region selection as he was a second team selection in 2010, a third team selection in 2011 and a first team honoree in 2012, while also being a Second-Team D3Baseball.com All-Region selection in 2012. In 2012, he was also named the SLIAC Pitcher of the Year and was also named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in both 2011 and 2012. He also earned three career SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week honors as he was tabbed twice in 2011 and once in 2012. In 2012, he was 8-3 with a 1.94 ERA as he made 18 appearances and 14 starts and tossed three complete games and two shutouts. During his three year career, Mueller made 44 appearances, 39 starts and compiled a 22-7 record and a career 2.51 ERA. In addition, he also tossed nine complete games, three shutouts, tallied two saves and tossed 247.1 innings. Additionally, he added 238 strikeouts and walked 76. Sits second in career games started (39), tied for second in career shutouts (3), third in career innings pitched (247.1), third in career strikeouts (238), tied for third in career wins (22), sixth in career complete games (9) and tied for ninth in career appearances (44). His 111 strikeouts in 2012 are second on the school's single season chart, while his 10.74 strikeouts per 9 inning game in 2012 is third on the school's single season chart. 
 
Matt Mulhearn (Chicago, Ill. – 2017-present)
Mulhearn's Career Stats
The final of four current Gorloks on the All-Decade Team, Mulhearn has lettered the past four seasons and will return to complete his career in 2021 after having his 2020 senior campaign cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the final three years of the decade, Mulhearn was a two-time All-SLIAC selection, including earning First-Team All-SLIAC honors in 2019. Along with the two All-SLIAC selections, he was a Third-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American in 2019 and an Honorable Mention D3Baseball.com All-American in 2019. In addition, he has been a three-time All-Central Region honoree as he has earned First-Team honors from the ABCA in both 2018 and 2019 and was a Second-Team selection from D3Baseball.com in 2019. Additionally, he earned the NCAA Whitewater Regional Tournament MVP honors in 2019 and was also a SLIAC All-Tournament Team selection in 2019. In 2018-19, he was named the Webster Athletics' President's Award winner. Has collected three career SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week accolades as he won the honor twice in 2018 and once in 2019 and took home a D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honoree in 2018. In the decade, he made 48 appearances and 30 career starts and compiled a 22-6 record and a 2.68 ERA. Mulhearn also recorded six complete games and in 218 innings, he recorded 203 strikeouts and walked 41. Additionally, in his Webster career, he is 22-7 with a 2.60 ERA and has made 54 appearances and 34 starts and has tossed seven complete games. He has also thrown 246 innings and has allowed 203 hits, 80 runs, 71 earned runs, while striking out 227 and walking 45. Holds the single season school record for wins as he won 12 games in 2019 and also holds the single season school record for innings pitched of 105.2 in 2019. Sits tied for third in career wins (22), fourth in career starts (34), fourth in career innings pitched (246.0), fourth in career strikeouts (227), fifth in career appearances (54), sixth in career ERA (2.60), seventh in career strikeouts per 9 innings (8.30), tied for eighth in career complete games (7) and tied for 11th in career saves (3).

Jason Gray (St. Louis, Mo. - 2011, '13-14)
Gray's Career Stats
Gray lettered for three years early in the decade for the Gorloks and he earns his spot as a reliever on the All-Decade Team after being a two-time All-SLIAC selection in both 2011 and 2014. Along with being a two-time All-SLIAC honoree, Gray recorded a 9-1 career record and a career 1.00 ERA. In addition, he made 56 appearances and holds the school's all-time mark in saves with 12. Additionally, he tossed 72.1 career innings and allowed just 41 hits, 16 runs, eight earned runs, while striking out 60 and walking 39. In addition to holding the school's all-time record in saves, Gray also holds the school's career mark for games finished with 44 and is third in career pitching appearances with 56. His five saves in both 2013 and 2014 are tied for fifth on the school's single season charts, while his 19 games finished in 2013 is tied for second on the school's single season list.
 
Adrian Santiago (Chicago, Ill. – 2018-19)
Santiago's Career Stats
Over the final two years of the decade, Santiago earns a spot on the All-Decade Team as a relief pitcher after having a senior season in 2019 that saw him earn both All-SLIAC and Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region honors. In addition, he took home a SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week accolade in 2019. Santiago made 39 appearances and six starts in his two seasons and compiled an 8-5 record with a career ERA of 3.56. Additionally, he recorded nine saves, all of which came in 2019 and those nine saves are tops on the school's single season chart. He recorded 86 career innings of work and allowed 72 hits, 43 runs, 34 earned runs, while striking out 74 and walking 35. As the team's closer in 2019, Santiago made 26 appearances and went 7-3 with a 2.29 ERA and in 55 innings of work, he struck out 56 and walked just 19. He is second in career saves (9), tied for eighth in career combined shutouts (3), ninth in career games finished (23), tied for 17th in career appearances (39) and along with his single season school record nine saves, he is tied for single season school record in appearances with 26 in 2019.
 
Dylan Dean Smith (Albion, Ill. - 2011, '13-15)
Smith's Career Stats
Smith played four years at Webster and in those four years, he earned his spot as a reliever on the All-Decade Team after being a two-time All-SLIAC selection. In addition to being a two-time All-SLIAC selection, he was a two-time ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region selection as he was a first team honoree in 2015 and a third team selection in 2014. Additionally, he was also named an NCAA Central Regional Tournament MVP in 2015 and earned SLIAC/Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week honors in 2013. In his four year career, Smith made 60 appearances, including 18 starts and compiled a 24-6 career record and recorded a 2.74 career ERA. He also tossed two complete games, had three saves and in 184 career innings of work, he allowed 169 hits, 74 runs, 56 earned runs, while striking out 129 and walking 60. During his senior campaign in 2015, he was 8-3 with a 2.13 ERA and in 22 appearances and one start, he tossed 42.1 innings and recorded 31 strikeouts and walked just nine. He holds the school's all-time record for appearances with 60 and is also second in career wins (24), tied for eighth in combined shutouts (3), 10th in career games finished (22) and career innings pitched (184.0), tied for 11th in saves (3) and 12th in career strikeouts (129).
