The Gorloks took 20 shots in the first half and attempted 19 shots in the second half, while the Gorloks defense held the Red Devils to one shot, which came late in the 77th minute by Shakaya Rogers. Rogers' shot was saved by sophomore goalkeeper Taryn Banfield (Plano, Texas/Plano East) and that save was the lone one of the match for the Gorloks, who posted its third shutout of the season.

Webster got the scoring started in the 16th minute as freshman forward Jennifer Munger (Loganville, Ga./Grayson) took as pass from sophomore forward Mackenzie O'Neal (Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) and connected from 12 yards out for her third goal of the season.

In the 29th minute, freshman forward Lauren Colombo (St. Louis, Mo./Oakville) gave the Gorloks a 2-0 lead as she scored off a deflection. Colombo's goal was assisted by junior midfielder Kaitlyn Theriot (Lake St. Louis, Mo./Liberty).

About three minutes later, junior forward Jordan Lande (Sachse, Texas/Sachse) took a pass from Theriot and connected for a goal from 11 yards out to give Webster a 3-0 lead.

Columbo would score her second goal of the match in the 36th minute as she took a pass from freshman defender Kelly Bowen (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway West) and scored on a breakaway goal to make the score 4-0 in Webster's favor.

Lande would increase Webster's lead to 5-0 late in the 62nd minute as she took a pass from Grapentine and scored on a breakaway goal from about 16 yards out. The two goals pushed Lande's season total to a team-leading five.

Theriot, who had two assists in the match, would get into the scoring column as she took a pass from Bowen and scored on a breakaway goal from 15 yards out to complete the scoring.

Lande led the Gorloks with eight shots and six shots on goal, while Theriot added five shots. Munger, Williams and freshman midfielder Angie Calabrese (San Marcos, Calif./Mission Hills) each had four shots in the match.

Freshman goalkeeper Heather Jones (Brandenton, Fla./Florida Collegiate) earned the win in goal as she played the first half and didn't face a shot to improve to 2-1 on the year. Banfield would play the second half and record a save.
