2023 Men's Soccer Schedule Released

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The 2023 Webster University men's soccer schedule has been released. The Gorloks will open their season on Friday, September 1st when they host the Maryville (Tenn.) College Scots for a nonconference matchup at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.

The Gorloks will open their season with three more home games over the next seven days. They will host Dominican (Ill.) University, who finished last season ranked seventh in Region VIII, on Sunday, September 3rd at 1 p.m. at WWT Soccer Park. They will then host the University of Health Science and Pharmacy (Mo.) on Wednesday, September 6th and Rhodes (Tenn.) College on Friday, September 8th.

Webster will hit the road on Sunday, September 10th when they travel to Grinnell, Iowa, to take on Grinnell (Iowa) College for a nonconference matchup. They will then return home for a matchup against 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer National Tournament qualifier, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, on Friday, September 15th and a matchup against Illinois College on Tuesday, September 19th.

The team will open up conference play on Tuesday, September 26th when they host Blackburn (Ill.) College for a SLIAC matchup. The game is set to take place at 7:30 p.m. at WWT Soccer Park.

The Gorloks will play their final nonconference game of the season on Wednesday, October 4th when they host the Washington (Mo.) University Bears for a regional matchup. The game will start at 7 p.m. at WWT Soccer Park.

Webster will travel to Greenville, Illinois, on Saturday, October 21st to take on the Greenville (Ill.) University Panthers in a rematch of last years SLIAC Men's Soccer Tournament Final. The game is set to start at 1 p.m.

The Gorloks will wrap up their regular season with two games in the final full week of October. The team will host Principia (Ill.) College for their final home game on Tuesday, October 24th and then will travel to Batesville, Arkansas, for the first time in program history to take on the newest member of the SLIAC, Lyon (Ark.) College, on Saturday, October 28th.

The SLIAC Tournament is set to take place from Tuesday, October 31st to Saturday, November 4th with the higher seed hosting each of the games.
