2024 Softball Schedule Announced

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University softball team will open their 2024 season on Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th when they travel to Memphis, Tennessee, to take on Rhodes (Tenn.) College and Maryville (Tenn.) College in the Rhodes Invitational.

The team will play their home opener on Saturday, February 24th when they host Hanover (Ind.) College for a nonconference doubleheader at St. Josephs Academy. The team will then take on Illinois College and College of the Ozarks (Ark.) the next day as a part of the Fontbonne Invitational.

The Gorloks will travel to Tucson, Arizona, for their annual spring break trip from March 8th to March 12th. They will play nine games on the week including two matchups against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (N.Y.) and one against Central (Iowa) College. Rensselaer Polytechnic and Central both qualified for last years NCAA Division III National Tournament.

Following their trip to Arizona, the team will return home for a 10-game stretch starting on Saturday, March 16th when they host the University of Dubuque (Iowa) for a nonconference doubleheader. They will then host Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Ind.) for their final nonconference doubleheader of the season on Saturday, March 23rd.

The home stand will finish with six conference games including doubleheaders against Eureka (Ill.) College on March 29th and Lyon (Ark.) College on April 7th. They will then host Spalding (Ky.) University, the 2023 SLIAC Regular Season and Tournament Champions, on April 14th for a doubleheader.

Webster will play their final two home doubleheaders of the season on April 24th when they take on Westminster (Mo.) College and April 26th when they host Greenville (Ill.) University. The regular season will conclude the next weekend on May 7th when the team travels to Carlinville, Illinois, to take on Blackburn (Ill.) College.

The SLIAC Softball Tournament is set to take place from May 7th to May 11th with the semifinals and finals taking place in Louisville, Kentucky.
