Both teams battled between the endlines as the score remained scoreless at the halftime break.

In the 50th minute, the Panthers were awarded a goal kick when GU's goalkeeper in Miller played the ball short to her teammate when Rodgers intercepted the pass and was fouled in the box by Miller that granted a Gorlok penalty kick.

Moments later, junior defender Inouye stepped up and blasted a shot to the lower right post when Miller got a hand on it as the ball went straight up in the air and rolled over the line for the goal that gave the Gorloks the 1-0 lead.

After that goal by Inouye, both teams battled back-and-forth as either team recorded a shot for 34 minutes. In the 84th minute, the Panthers tied the match at one piece on a goal by Cabral Johnston.

Less than a minute later, the Gorloks sent the ball into the Panthers territory when first-year Claire Thurmond ripped a shot that went just wide right. On the final offensive attack of the match, Riley Cappozzo had a fantastic opportunity to break the scoreless match as blasted a rocket of a shot on goal but GU's Miller collected the save that granted the draw.

For the match, Inouye led the offensive attack with two shots as seven other student-athletes recorded at least one shot. In net, Courtney Haneline recorded one save in the match.
