WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. - The Webster University men's and women's basketball student-athletes visited students at Dr. Henry Givens Jr. and Hudson Elementary Schools on December 12 to kick-off the 2024-2025 Webster Groves School District Winter Reads program.

Claire Williams, Kaelyn Stager, Kaimyla Nolen, Annie Sale, Alyssa Gilchrist, Allen Grahovic, Jemard Sykes II, and Kyle Knickrehm visited Dr. Henry Givens Jr. Elementary School and Jena Stannard, Grace Hupp, Khamyri Jordan, Avery Forrester, Booker Simmons, Daron Sturdivant, and Alpha Diallo visited Hudson Elementary School.

During both visits, Webster student-athletes talked with the students during their lunch periods promoting the Webster Groves Winter Reads program over Winter Break. They encouraged the students from K-5th to read their required number of books over the break. Students who meet or exceed their book challenge will be able to attend the men's and women's basketball games against Greenville University on Saturday, January 11 with the opportunity to meet the teams after their games for an autograph session and then enjoy a pizza party following the men's game.
