Hill Earns First Career SLIAC Runner Of the Week Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has released the names of the student-athletes who were selected as for either Runner / Player of the Week for the week of October 6-12. WU's Violet Hill earned her first career Runner of the Week honor after her fantastic fourth place finish at the Trojan Invitational.

Out of the field of 38 competitors that included a pair of Division II and NAIA programs, Hill finished the 5k race with a time of 21:18.1 that earned fourth overall. With that fourth place finish, it marks her second fourth overall finish and third top-15 of the season. 

With this selection, it marks her first Runner of the Week award for her career.
