Hill Earns Ninth Overall At 2025 SLIAC Championships

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Webster University women's cross country team hosted and competed in the 2025 SLIAC Cross Country Championships at Buder Park North. WU's Violet Hill earned her third top-10 finish of the season with a ninth place finish in the 6k race.

Hill paced the Gorloks with a time of 25:55.28 that earned ninth overall.

Brie Inman was the next Gorlok that crossed the finish line as she recorded a time of 29:37.17.

First-year Averie Holifield also competed in the race and recorded a time of 38:23.61.

Aissata Kamara and JeRiya Thomas rounded out the field for Webster with times of 46:09.56 and 46:11.53 respectively.

The Gorloks will close out the season on Saturday, November 15 competing in the 2025 NCAA Midwest Regional Championships at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
