Kamara and Pavlisko Set New Personal Records In Season Opener At UIndy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Webster University women's track and field team opened the 2025-26 indoor season by competing in the 2025 Scott Fangman Invitational at the University of Indianapolis. WU's Aissata Kamara and Cali Pavlisko set two new personal records each at this meet.

In the 60m dash, Kamara set a new personal record with a time of 8.20 seconds. In addition, JeRiya Thomas recorded a time of 8.76 seconds while Faith Scott rounded out the field for Webster with a time of 9.95 seconds.

In the 200m event, Kamara was the lone Webster competitor in the event as she set a new personal record in this event with a time of 27.71 seconds.

In the shot put event, Pavlisko set a new personal record with a mark of 11.18m which was on her first attempt. Sophomore Grace Rose rounded out the field for Webster with a mark of 8.27m.

In the weight throw, Pavlisko achieved a new personal record with a mark of 13.19m which earned ninth overall. Rose competed in this event as well and recorded a mark of 10.53m. First-year Sophia Cashion rounded out the field for Webster with a mark of 8.09m.

In the one mile run, sophomore runner Brie Inman was the lone Gorlok in the event as she recorded a time of 7:19.78.

The Gorloks will resume the indoor season in the new calendar year on Saturday, January 24 competing in the IC Snow Bird Invite starting at 10:00AM in Jacksonville, Illinois.
