Pavlisko Secures Gold In Shot Put; Two Gorloks Set New Personal Marks At IC Snow Bird Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Webster University Women's Track & Field team competed in their first meet in the calendar year of 2026 at the IC Snow Bird Invite at Illinois College on Saturday. Senior thrower Cali Pavlisko secured her first win of the season in the Shot Put with a mark of 11.07m. Two other Gorloks set a new personal record at this meet.

In the Weight Throw, Pavlisko earned a sixth place finish with a mark of 12.36m which was on her third attempt. First-year Sophia Cashion set a new personal record with a mark of 8.78m.

In the 60m dash, Aissata Kamara crossed the finish line with a time of 8.38 seconds that placed 13th overall. WU's Faith Scott rounded out the field for Webster with a time of 10.20 seconds.

In the One Mile run, Violet Hill achieved a new personal record with a time of 6:02.74 while Brie Inman recorded a time of 7:16.41 that earned 14th overall.

In the 800m event, Hill recorded a time of 2:48.53 that earned 11th place while Inman recorded a time of 3:27.52
