Four Gorloks Set New Personal Records at Principia Relays

ELSAH, Ill. - The Webster University women's track and field team competed in the two-day Principia College Relays this past Friday and Saturday. Four Gorloks set a new personal record at this meet.

Friday Events:
In the Weight Throw finals, senior Cali Pavlisko recorded a mark of 11.86m. In addition, sophomore Grace Rose set a new personal record with a mark of 10.93m. Lastly, Sophia Cashion set a new personal record with a mark of 9.44m.

In the 60m dash semifinals race, Aissata Kamara recorded a time of 8.29 seconds while Faith Scott rounded out the field for Webster with a time of 9.95 seconds.

Saturday Events:
In the Shot Put finals, Pavlisko earned a sixth place finish with a mark of 10.95m while Rose recorded a mark of 7.82m.

In the Mile Run finals, Violet Hill set a new personal record with a time of 5:53.52.

In the 500m dash finals, Lydia Imboden recorded a time of 1:46.20.

In the 300m dash finals, Kamara set a new personal record with a time of 44.88 seconds that finished sixth overall.

In the 3000m run, Hill recorded a time of 11:54.99 that placed 11th overall. Sophomore runner Brie Inman rounded out the field for Webster with a time of 14:00.56.

The Gorloks will continue the indoor season on February 6 competing in the two-day meet at Northwestern Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.
