Women’s Track Earn Three New PR’s and Three Top-10 Finishes at DePauw Invitational

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Webster University women's track and field team participated in their sixth meet of the indoor season at the DePauw Invitational on Saturday. Three Gorloks set a new personal record, Cali Pavlisko earned a top-8 finish in both throwing events, and Aissata Kamara placed eighth in the 200m dash at this meet.

In the shot put event, Pavlisko recorded a mark of 10.52m that earned sixth overall. Sophomore thrower Grace Rose recorded a mark of 8.30m.

In the weight throw, Pavlisko recorded a mark of 12.90m that earned eighth overall. In addition, Rose set a new personal record with a mark of 12.44m that earned 11th overall. First-year Sophia Cashion rounded out the field for Webster with a mark of 9.04m.

In the 60m dash, Kamara recorded a time of 8.23 seconds that earned 11th overall. In the 200m, Kamara set a new indoor personal record with a time of 27.20 seconds that earned eighth overall.

In the 800m, Lydia Imboden achieved a new personal record with a time of 3:04.65.

In the one mile run, Violet Hill recorded a time of 6:00.36 that earned 17th overall.

In the Distance Medley Relay, the team of Hill, Imboden, Brynn Beck, and Brie Inman recorded a time of 15:54.36.

In the long jump, Averie Holifield recorded a mark of 3.28m.

The Gorloks will compete in their final meet of the season before the SLIAC Championships on Friday, February 20 by participating in the Hilltop Classic at Illinois College starting at 5:00PM in Jacksonville, Illinois.
