16 Gorloks Earn SLIAC Winter All-Academic Team Honors

BELLEVILLE, Ill. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the winter sports competing student-athletes who were named to the SLIAC Winter All-Academic Team. Sixteen Gorloks across four programs were named to this team.

In order to be selected to the SLIAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have competed at the varsity level, be a sophomore or above, have spent at least one full calendar year at their respective institutions, and held a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above.

The Men's Track & Field team led the winter sports with eight selections that included Elijah Bohler, Johnny Imboden, Lucas LaRue, Austin Merritt, Ethan Nieroda, Thomas Ogata, Dylan Patterson, and Robin Wong.

The Women's Basketball team earned four selections which were Mattie Jones, Emily Kerce, Kaelyn Stager, and Claire Williams.

The Women's Track & Field team earned three honorees which were Cali Pavlisko, Aissata Kamara, and Grace Rose.

The Men's Basketball team had one honoree which was Andrew Hall.
