Webster’s volleyball team defeated Maryville, 3-1 on Tuesday night at Grant Gym. Crystal Spinner led the way for the Gorloks recording a double-double with 17 kills and 14 digs.

            WU (18-7, 14-1 SLIAC), won the first two games 30-25 and 30-19 before the Saints (10-12, 9-8 SLIAC), rallied to win game three and force a fourth game. In the final game Webster jumped out a 20-11 lead and never looked back on its way to sealing a 30-19 win. The Gorloks had four players reach double figures in kills. Spinner was joined by Jackie Schall, #Erin Grobe# and Megan Floarke with 10 kills each. Abby Williams had 30 assists while Mary Jo Schweitzer had 22 digs for WU.
